University-wide Navigation

Over the next few years, the University of Kentucky’s goal is to become one of the country’s most innovative campuses when it comes to the use of technology. As a part of this wider smart campus strategy, the university is providing all incoming degree-seeking, first-time undergraduate students with an iPad Air, Keyboard, and Apple Pencil. We’re not interested in technology as a bragging point. We’re interested in technology to help students learn and compete in the workforce for which we are preparing them. We want to give our faculty the kinds of tools that match their expertise as teachers. We want to integrate the use of technology across campus in a strategic and coordinated way. It’s an initiative aimed at improving learning, graduation rates, and leveling the technological playing field for students.
