Transfer of ownership to graduates

Graduates will receive a designated date when their iPad will be removed from the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. Once that date is reached, the iPad is owned outright by the graduate. Please note: after MDM removal, you must restore the device to factory settings using the guide below. We strongly encourage backing up your data beforehand to avoid losing personal files and following the guide below thoroughly for best results. Graduates may keep their iPad at no cost after leaving the University.

Important Notes

• After you complete your undergraduate program, the iPad will be released from our system.
• Your iPad will receive a command to reset back to factory settings, wiping all your stuff.
• Backup all of your notes and app data to iCloud so you can recover this back later.
