From Smart Campus A Letter to UK Campus

Dear UK community,

The University of Kentucky is a very special place. Our campus is at the forefront of innovation, community-building, and technology within the region, bringing those elements together to serve our students and the Commonwealth. That’s why we are thrilled to present the first edition of our Smart Campus newsletter, The Screen Times, created to keep you up-to-date on all the things we’re making Wildly Possible!

From our iPad  initiative providing cutting-edge technology to incoming freshman, to our dynamic digital signage program broadcasting news and updates around every corner, to the UK Esports program, offering students the chance to engage with peers, explore innovative technologies, and sharpen their skills in a rapidly growing industry. Smart Campus is committed to empowering our students with the resources and experiences they need to succeed in today's world.

We are located on South Broadway and South Upper in The Cornerstone building. As the name sounds, it is at the corner of the University Campus. Being on that border helps us to facilitate our goal of being invested in our Lexington Community as much as we are in our Wildcats here on campus. With food options, Cup of Commonwealth and Ethereal in our space, on top of the many events held in the UKFCU Esports Lounge, Cornerstone offers something for everyone to enjoy. 

Between iPad support, esports tournaments and social events every month, the late hours of the UKFCU Esports Lounge and our always present digital signage, we do what we can to make all facets of our campus a bit more accessible to our students and beyond.

We hope this newsletter will serve as a source of inspiration, collaboration, and community-building as we continue to grow and evolve together. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
