Spring iPad Initiative Speaker Series Incorporating iPad technology into your classes The Craft and Technology of Digital Video Production in Any Classroom

Please join Joshua Abboud, Assistant Professor in the department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies as he shares his experiences creating workflows for digital video production. Dr. Abboud will share how he has used specific apps (iMovie, GarageBand, Paste/Paper) to introduce basic video creation skills that focus on human craft and less on tech capabilities. The presentation will include discussion of what is both gained and lost in the service of simplicity.
